Whether you grind your own pork or turkey, or buy it that way, homemade sausage is as simple as can be.
Place 1 pound of ground meat in a bowl or a stand mixer.
Then add 3 level Tablespoons of our sugar free Italian sausage seasoning and 1 Tablespoon of vinegar of choice and mix to combine well. NOTE: If you are using turkey, you might want to add a tablespoon or two of fat to help with frying – we recommend olive oil or coconut oil.
Cook your sausage immediately or freeze for later use. (If you wish to refrigerate it before cooking – keep it no longer than the original expiration date on the meat used.)
